The obvious one is by switching to the mount you're on. (Use "Jackal" key to get on the jackal, then use "Raptor" key to switch to Raptor, then use "Raptor" key again to dismount, that sort of thing.)

I note that all of the new specialization collections (In Path of Fire) require the use of the Jackal mount to acquire an accessory-----without providing ANY useful data as to how!!I am trying to accomplish the "Riddle of the Spellbreaker" and have used ALL of the jackal portals, reached the vista, but still have NOT "accomplished" the task.

It's not hard so much as it is expensive and time consuming. This is the only correct answer. Also, fuck the pyramid nest. Just take the jackal portal opposite of the HP. It takes you up high and you can glide down to the nest. It's very easy to get to, but I know Dulfy's guide uses a ridiculously hard way. The 20 gold for the jackal initially floored me on the expense, but I'm okay with it for what it gives back. It's a one-time unlock too, if that helps at all. 250 for the griffon is a challenge and I shall overcome it in the next week or so (back to work in the daytimes and all that). you will need jackal to get some masteries in pof and travel in lws4 maps using jackal portals. ie. when u want to do dragonfall meta you will see how important to get reach some locations. i use jackal most its evading and speed is just what i need. easiest thing is getting pof masteries, most of them just commune. you can lvl by farming yellow mobs with kill streak and exp boosters. or just
